PROGRAMME
1.30 p.m.
ASSEMBLY
in front of the church of St Mary the Virgin on the corner
of the south side of Putney Bridge and Putney High Street
ASSEMBLY

WALK
to Putney Pier where we will install ourselves in front
of the boat houses on the embankment of the Thames where we
will have a glass of champers or two in anticipation of what is to come

START
we will watch the exciting start when the two crews set out to win
and we will cheer Oxford to the finish, 15 minutes and 36 seconds later!

FINISH
we will have more champage to drink to Oxford's victory (or scenario 2:
drown our sorrows and raise our glasses anyway) whereafter we will throw
our glasses in the Thames and have a couple of more drinks in the local
establishments enjoying the tremendous atmosphere that makes the Boat
Race so unique, before: A*) passing out; B) going clubbing; C*) going home.

FINISH

WHAT TO BRING
champagne, glasses, salmon sandwiches, strawberries,

chocolate eggs (it is Easter after all), Cuban cigars
(not the cheap ones), gorgeous people like us
WHAT NOT TO BRING
non-alcoholic drinks, plastic cups (we only drink from glasses),
cheap Cuban cigars, Cambridge supporters, boring people

WHAT TO WEAR
Oxford blue with pink accents
The President and the VP expect to see the whole shebang:
baseball caps, blazers, boat shoes, jeans, lots of colourful
stripes (horizontal AND vertical), rugby shirts, shawls,
tweed jackets
WHAT NOT TO WEAR
Anything that even remotely looks like Cambridge blue
